Best idol size: most families use a murti between 8″ and 18″ tall once the aasan and hanging flowers are in place. If your idol is larger, measure the height including the base before you order.

How to decorate this Ganpati backdrop stand

1. Assemble the cube and set it on a steady table, low platform, or clean floor.
2. Wrap artificial marigold or rose garlands around every rail. The square edges give you a neat, even makhar shape.
3. Drape a brocade dupatta, silk fabric, or banana-leaf print cloth over the top as a roof.
4. Hang a small brass bell or toran from the centre top bar. Add a warm fairy-light string along the upper rails.
5. Place a singhasan or red velvet aasan in the centre and seat your Ganesh idol.
6. Finish the front with diyas, petals, and a fruit or modak offering.
