Panchajanya (Sanskrit: पाञ्चजन्य, romanized: Pāñcajanya) is the shankha (conch) of the Hindu preserver deity Vishnu.

This piece – Rare Collection Shankh/Conch in Antique Finish Brass with Rich Sculpting of Hindu Religious Deities Vishnu-Lakshmi.

After the installation of sacred pot (kalasa-sthapana), the sacred conch-shankh must be installed for purpose of worship. The procedure is called ‘Samkha-sthapana’. The conch-shankh must be located to the right of the kalasa and to the left of the worshipper.
