• Daily Dusting: Wipe gently with a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth along the wood grain.
• Brass Care: The brass elements are pre-sealed to resist rapid tarnishing. Avoid abrasive steel wool or caustic brass cleaners, which may damage the surrounding wood lacquer.
• Moisture Protection: If used during pujas involving water, milk, or ghee (chandan/haldi), promptly blot dry with a damp cloth followed by a dry cloth. Do not soak.
• Direct Heat: Avoid placing burning camphor or direct diya flames directly against the polished wood surface; always use a small metal coaster or brass thali underneath.
• Nourishing: Recondition once a year with beeswax or natural mineral oil to maintain the wood’s deep luster.
